S3 Youth Triathlon Training Team

S3 Youth Triathlon Training Team is a training development team for ages 6 – 18. Members of the team will be introduced to the basics of the sport of triathlon and will develop and hone the age-appropriate skills needed to be successful in the sport. This includes proper swimming and running technique, safe bike handling skills, and efficient transitions. Come and join our team of the fastest growing and hottest sport in the U.S.-triathlons!

The cost is $175 per lesson

  • Swimsuit
  • Goggles

  • Running shoes 

Schedule 

Youth Triathlon Training Team Practices on Monday 5:00-6:30pm at Summit Chase.
  • 5:00-6:00 Run/Bike
  • 6:00-6:30 Swim Session

Program Details 

There are three training sessions per practice.
 
Swimming Session – Kids will be separated into training groups based on age and ability. Swim practice will focus on proper technique and cardiovascular endurance.
 
Biking Session – Bike sessions will be conducted at Summit Chase and will focus on safe bike handling skills. Kids will learn how to mount and dismount safely, hold a straight line, and execute safe turns. They will also become familiar with proper signaling and group riding etiquette. Mileage on the bike will increase as handling skills are perfected.
 
Running Session – Run workouts will be age appropriate, focus on proper running technique, and include a proper warm up and cool down.
 
Transition practice and brick workouts will be included throughout each session during the swim, bike, and/or run sessions.
